It was a saturday morning, approximately ten o'clock in the morning. The sun was shining bright in the blue sky, which was the perfect weather for any citizen or even student to be seated out in their yards enjoying the warmth. Aiden on the other hand, found himself sprawled out across the school's football field, school books around him in a semi circle as he studied for upcoming tests and quizzes. For any other students of Miami High, studying on a Saturday wouldn't be their first choice, but Aiden was different. With a sigh he flipped the page of each book, and began reading page by page again. After two pages, he looked down at his watch, and then sighed and rests forehead against a book, closing his eyes. It had been a long morning, filled with complaints from his parents that he had no plans, and lying saying that he did, only to end up half asleep at the place he loved and hated the most, school. Perhaps he shouldn't have lied to his parents, but they would never know. He'd just make up some lame story about the good time he had out with his 'friends'. "I should get some," he mumbled quietly to himself, before rolling onto his back and looking up into the sky. WORDS: 218 OUTFIT: clickk TAG: open

Kazumi was running near the campus when she saw Aiden on the football field. He had books sprawled around him, a rather cute boy. She decided to say hi to him before she went back to running. "Top of the morning to ya." She said in her British accent as she came near the boy.

Aiden found himself beginning to daydream about what he could have been up to. As per usual, his daydream was interrupted soon after it begun. A voice, a girl voice, with an accent much different than his own, spoke, using an expression he didn't hear too much around Miami. Blinking rapidly to try and get the lighting to fix after having stared in the sun for too long, Aiden sat and brushed the grass from his back, and rose an eyebrow slightly.
"Good morning," he mumbled shyly as he fixed his shirt and stood. Once he was at his full height, he pushed his hands into his pockets, and bit his lower lip. His eyes shifted from her, to the ground by his feet, and then back, trying to hide his nervousness as much as possible.

"I'm Kazumi, you go to school here?" She asked in a friendly tone. The Boy seemed nervous to be around her, but was trying to hide it.

He studied her face carefully, trying the best he could to make a good impression. Flipping his hair from his face carefully, he listened to her speak, "I'm Kazumi, you go to school here?" It was an interesting name, and he definitely liked it. Suddenly, he wanted to know more about her, which was quite an ordinary thing for him, but as per usual he was too afraid to ask anything in case it offended her in a way. Aiden also didn't want to scare the girl off, since he had a chance at actual friendship with this girl.
"Kazumi? Th-that's a nice name," he stumbled over his words, "yes I do go to school here, my name's Aiden," he tried speaking a little louder in fear that she wasn't able to hear him. The girl was pretty, and small, much smaller than him. In fact, he had to tilt his head down a slight bit to be able to look at the girl. Scratching the back of his head, he spoke again, "do you go to school here too?" He hadn't seen her around before, but then again, he never really remembered faces that he saw around.

"Yhea, I'm a tenth year here and they don't teach that class until at least twelfth year so our paths haven't crossed much." Kazumi said. "You enjoy studying?" She asked.

The small girl spoke again, and Aiden listened carefully, enjoying the rhythm that came along with her accent. Some words came out smoother than others, which forced the boy to pay close attention so that he would never find himself unable to understand what she was saying to him. The communication between the two was perfect, despite the fact that their accents were the complete opposite. With a small sigh he looked down at his books as she asked whether or not studying was something he enjoyed. "Mm.. I don't hate it," he looked up at her again.
"School's important, and so studying is too, y'know?" he tilted his head to the side a little bit, which gave him that extra bit of innocence, which he already portrayed well. The setting calmed him, making it easier to concentrate on her and not lose focus on pushing his nervousness to the side. He rocked back and forth on his feet slightly as his legs were beginning to fall asleep from the lack of movement.

There are voices... not my own.
David groaned and opened his eyes slowly, shading them with his hand. He was lying on his back, about four rows up on the bleachers. And boy was he sore. Slowly sitting up, he stared at his arms, a nice bruise on the right one, some abrasions on the left. "Well, chicks dig scars." He said quietly to himself.
Standing up just as slowly, he heard the voices again, sailing up the bleachers, into his ears. Looking down, he noticed the loner kid, and a new girl, a few years younger than he.
Awake for under 4 minutes, and already bored, he stretched a bit then walked down the steps, leaning over the railing and down at the two of them.
"Morning! Anyone have the time?"

Kazumi looked at her watch. "About ten or so." She said, I don't think I've met you either. I'm Kazumi." She said, introducing herself.

There was another voice suddenly, and Aiden picked it up almost instantly. He'd heard it before many times in the hallways. It was the god of wall boys, perfect body, perfect hair, a smile that could kill, and everything else possible that girls and boys, like himself would easily fall for. Aiden looked down, waiting for his blush to disappear as his thoughts had drifted to.. not so appropriate places. Once it was gone, he look up at the boy. Biting down on his lip, while playing with his fingers, he tried to think of something to say.
Luckily, Kazumi beat him to it, ""About ten or so." She said, I don't think I've met you either. I'm Kazumi," her accent sounded stronger now that there was another american voice in the play. Aiden realized that he should probably introduce himself too, he thought of something cool to say like, 'sup, i'm Aiden. or g'morning stranger, i'd like to get into your pants. Of course cool wasn't his forte, and Aiden settled for a simple, "U-ummm, hey, I'm... A-Aiden," his stutter was getting worse, and he shunned himself for it in his mind. The one time he was able to speak to David, he made a fool out of himself.

Frowning a little, he looked up at the sky, then shrugged and nodded. "Alright." He said. The pain from sleeping on the concrete had worn off, and he stretched again, rolling his shoulders before grabbing the railing, jumping a little bit, allowing his foot to also catch on the railing, he flipped himself over the railing and fell the approximate 4 feet to the ground, landing on one foot and taking two steps to balance himself out.
Nodding to Kazumi, he held his right hand out, and noddded to Aiden. "We met last year, during the senior seminar. Remember?" He said with a small smile. "What are you two doing out here, on a Saturday, when you can be out enjoying others company?" The pain in his left arm had almost gone away, but he needed to leave pretty quickly, and get it bandaged.

"I was running. However, I hear that Rio's out now and I kinda wanted to see it." Kazumi suggested. She did not have many friends here in the states and if they wanted to hang out, she was not really in the mood to do something else.

Suddenly as Aiden looked up, David did some crazy move, that probably got all the girls hooked on him. Chewing on his bottom lip lightly, he watched and took mental notes. Of course he would never be able to do such a thing because of his lack of strength, but just the way David presented himself, brought people to their knees. His voice filled Aiden's ears again, "We met last year, during the senior seminar. Remember?" The small brunette was almost shocked that David remember him.. no one ever really did. "Oh y-yeah, I r-remember," he threw in a small smile, rocking back and forth on his feet. It wasn't long before David spoke again, "What are you two doing out here, on a Saturday, when you can be out enjoying others company?"
Aiden couldn't help but laugh quietly to himself. He let Kazumi answer first, she claimed that she heard Rio was out, and was also running. There was no good excuse for the boy, so he took a moment to think it over. "I u-umm.. I was just.. d-doing homework," he looked down again, not wanting to make eye contact with either of them now. It was bad enough when it was just Kazumi, but now that David stood there too, he wished he could climb into a hole and never come back out again. With all of his stuttering, he was definitely making a fool of himself.

Smirking a little, David nodded to the younger woman, and at Aiden. "Homework, hmm? Lovely day to do it in." He said with a bit of a smirk. He noticed that Kazumi had made the reference to Rio, getting the underlying question that she didn't want to ask. After waiting a few seconds to see if Aidan would pick up on it, which he didn't, David looked between the other two and asked. "Hey, did either of you want to see the new movie? My car is parked around the corner, if it hasn't been towed yet." He said, looking over his shoulder, as if he could see through the bleachers to where his vehicle was - hopefully - still parked.
