Bio:
Aiden was born into a family of four, which included his older sister, mother, and father. It was late July when he was born, a summer child, although he always seemed to prefer the winter months over those in the summer. His life was good up until the age of six when his sister passed away in a drunk driving accident, which explains his fear of cars, or any type of motorized transport.
Dealing with the death was somewhat difficult, but his parents reassured them that she had gone to a better place. Eventually things got back to normal, and proceeded as before. It was within his first few months in Junior High when Aiden found himself attracted to both genders. His parents were fine with it, as his sister had been attracted to only females. With his newfound confidence in his sexuality, he remained shy and developed a slight stutter. His parents were shocked that he was comfortable with his sexuality, but not with daily routines, like being around people.
It was expected that he would choose somewhere quiet and with minimal conversation to make extra money for himself. Both his parents were lawyers, but he kept to himself and took a job at the local library in his neighbourhood, hoping that not only would he not have to talk to others, but that perhaps he could get extra studying in, as his grades were good but not yet perfect.

There was something about seeing Magnus. Perhaps it was his beauty that could make every single other person in the room automatically feel that they weren’t good enough to be around him. But that was just it. Alec was good enough to be around the warlock. To the blue-eyed boy it made no sense as to why anyone would even take a second glance at him. He was awkward and shy, and rarely ever went shopping, which resulted in faded clothes. Being a shadowhunter, he often thought of himself looking a bit menacing, especially during training, or after hunting. Any human, would find himself fearful of his ability to fight off demons, but Magnus was different, and Alec needed to remember that. Not only was he a warlock, but he also saw something in Alec that no one else saw. He brought out the best in the young shadowhunter, and made sure that he never felt like he needed to shy away. That was what Alec loved the most about his warlock boyfriend.
It wasn’t too cold that night in New York. Just a small breeze that could cause you to shiver a little if you were not wearing the right clothing. As Alec looked up, he noticed that it had begun to snow. Nothing to drastic, just a few flakes here and there. It was interesting the way they almost danced their way down to the ground, almost like a ballet of sorts, but instead of people, little pieces of snow moved across the sky. Glitter was what it reminded Alec of most. Depending on the way the light moved across the snow, different colours seemed to be apparent. As soon as the thought of glitter entered his mind, Magnus was there to overtake those thoughts. The warlock always seemed to have glitter on him, which would always find it’s way onto Alec’s clothes, and eventually end up in the Institute. Jace always complained about it, but then again, Jace complained about everything. That was just who he was, and there was no way Alec was going to be able to change that.
Suddenly Alec found himself hearing music coming from the apartment, as he looked up he saw that the door had been opened and the familiar flashing of lights came from behind the door. So Magnus was having a party. It wasn’t really much of a surprise, as the warlock was known for throwing the best parties in all of the state. It could have been anyone that had opened the door, but Alec knew immediately by the coat and toe of the shoe that it was in fact his glittery boyfriend. A small smile crept onto his face as he watched his boyfriend come out of the apartment. There was a smile on his face too, until it faded into a frown.
At first, Alec thought he had done something wrong, or that there was some sort of threat behind him, and as a shadowhunter he was ready to pounce, but that quickly changed when he remembered that he was still in his hunting gear, and definitely not dressed for a party. Magnus stepped further out before beginning to speak, "Alec, is something wrong? Do you need help?" Alec couldn’t help but step forward, laughing a bit nervously. He shook his head, and walked forward again to be closer to his boyfriend. “No. Nothing’s wrong…I was supposed to go hunting with Izzy and Jace,” he explained, awkwardly toying with the sleeve of his jacket.
